Poet and music reviewer Natalie Zina Walschots talks to writer Liz Worth (author of Treat Me Like Dirt) about boozecans, broken glass and people who don’t remember how they got home at the end of the night at the launch of Worth’s new book of poetry, Amphetamine Heart. Featuring a poetic performance with theremin by Liz Worth, readings by Walschots and poet Jim Johnstone, an array of grotesquely fascinating freakshow stunts from Triage, a movie short, and the oddly sweet sounds of the grungy, punky garage rock band, comprised of former members of the Tijuana Bibles and The Threat, The Weirdies. Presented by This Is Not A Reading Series, Guernica Editions and Literary Press Group of Canada.
